Ingredients:
- 300g Green olives stuffed with red peppers
- 200 g flour
- 1 small glass of beer
- 2 egg whites
- Grated rind of 1 lemon
- 3 tablespoons grated kefalotyri cheese
- 3-4 tablespoons breadcrumbs
- Olive oil
- Salt
Preparation:
Prepare the batter by mixing all the ingredients together in a bowl. The batter should have a fairly thick consistency. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Dip the olives into the batter and deep fry until golden brown. Drain on a plate lined with absorbent paper towels and serve hot as an appetiser.
